This psychologist would be primarily responsible for collaborating with staff and other physicians on the STEP team, including the team psychiatrist to provide STEP patient evaluations, behavioral management recommendations and education. A key responsibility of this provider will be performing liaison work with STEP team providers, outpatient and hospital staff caregivers, Emergency Room nurses, social workers and physicians, in both hospital and outpatient settings to assist in managing the behavioral aspects of current and new STEP patients presenting to UAB.
