Sunset Imports is seeking an enthusiastic and talented individual to join our team as a Porsche Studio Barista. As a Barista at our Porsche Studio, you will play a crucial role in creating a memorable experience for our valued customers by crafting exceptional coffee beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and building one-on-one relationships with clients, all which allows them to truly feel like part of our Sunset Family. Your passion for coffee, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering a premium experience will contribute to the overall success and ambiance of our Porsche Studio. We are looking for a seasoned barista with a minimum of 2 years experience and has exceptional customer service skills to operate our coffee bar inside the Porsche Portland Studio.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee and tea beverages to customers.
• Ensure consistent, precise, and artful coffee preparation, following established recipes and techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized coffee bar, including proper stocking and storage of coffee beans, supplies, and equipment.
• Take customer orders, handle cash transactions, and process payments accurately.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing personalized service and answering questions about coffee offerings.
• Create latte art and garnishes to enhance the visual appeal of beverages.
• Offer recommendations to customers based on their preferences and provide guidance on coffee blends and flavor profiles.
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling and storage of food items.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure a seamless and exceptional customer experience.
• Stay updated on current coffee trends, brewing methods, and specialty coffee industry knowledge.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of relevant craft coffee experience.
• Latte art experience preferred.
• Weekend availability required
• Passion for coffee and a strong understanding of coffee beans and brewing methods.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
• Demonstrated ability to create latte art is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently.
• Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and strong work ethic.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including holidays.
• Knowledge or interest in luxury automotive brands is advantageous.
