Responsibilities for Certified Welder Read and understand assembly prints Measuring and cutting materials to specifications Shape and modify metal objects Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together Inspect finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints to ensure structural integrity Uses hand tools, files, electrodes, hammers, clamps, jigs Shop organization and assembly line modifications Keep work area clean and organized Other duties as assigned by supervisor Qualifications for Certified Welder 2-5 years' welding experience in assembly or manufacturing Previous experience working in a specialty vehicle manufacturer, EV experience a plus. Experience lean manufacturing and process improvement a plus Knowledge of metallurgy Knowledge of various welding techniques including TIG, MIG, arc, etc. Good attendance and good communication skills Previous experience in a start-up environment a plus Pass a weld test #J-18808-Ljbffr
