Job Title: Professional RN Team Lead Profession: RN Specialty: SNF Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, physical stamina for sitting or standing for long periods Description: We will deliver the highest quality health care in partnership with our community, one person at a time. The Professional RN Team Lead is responsible for time management, critical thinking, delegation, and prioritization. Direct patient care may include assessment, monitoring, recording, and reporting patient's condition. The Professional RN Team Lead collaborates with the care team and participates in interdisciplinary care. Advocates for patients and practices ethically and professionally within their scope. Promotes evidence-based practice and best practices related to patient care. Maintains clinical competence specific to their care area, including organization-required education within stated timeframe. Coordinates care with an interdisciplinary team. Communicates effectively and documents appropriately and thoroughly in EMR. Participates in unit councils and staff meetings. Must be available every other weekend and every other holiday. Floating to other units may be required as staffing permits. This position requires a 40-hour work week, five days per week. Staffing ratios for this shift are 1 RN, 2 LPNs, and 3-4 CNAs for every 40 residents. Typical orientation period is one day on the assigned unit. Scrubs of any color may be worn by the employee.
