Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Rotating Weekends | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit with 4 LDR beds at a 1:1 (with Pitocin) or 2:1 patient ratio
• Perform labor and delivery support, recovery care, and immediate newborn care including golden hour and baby care protocols
• Circulate and assist with C-sections, including PACU C-section recovery
• Operate without unit secretaries or technicians, requiring a high level of independent clinical competency
• Document accurately using Meditech and CPN electronic health record systems
• Adhere to patient experience standards including AIDET communication and bedside shift report practices

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
• Minimum 2+ years of Labor & Delivery hospital experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• AWHONN certification
• Demonstrated ability to circulate C-sections

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Ability to scrub C-sections
• Prior experience with Meditech documentation system
