Loan Servicing Analyst

The Loan Servicing Analyst is responsible for the ongoing administration, maintenance, and tracking of loan accounts, ensuring smooth management and compliance across all loan servicing functions. This role involves processing loan payments, updating account information, managing escrow accounts, and addressing customer inquiries. The Loan Servicing Analyst ensures that all loan-related activities adhere to regulatory and company standards, providing excellent customer service while supporting key loan functions. Key Responsibilities Loan Account Management: Oversee the day-to-day administration of loan accounts, including posting payments, updating account records, and monitoring account activity to ensure accuracy. Track and manage loan balances, payment schedules, and other account details to maintain current and accurate records. Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries regarding loan details, payment schedules, and other account-related questions, delivering prompt and accurate information. Address issues and provide solutions for customer concerns, ensuring a positive service experience. Escrow Management: Administer and monitor escrow accounts, including property taxes, insurance payments, and other escrow-related obligations. Perform annual escrow analysis and make adjustments as needed to ensure compliance and sufficient funding for escrow accounts. Loan Modifications and Refinancing: Assist with loan modification and refinancing requests by coordinating with internal teams and ensuring compliance with loan modification policies. Update loan terms and records following approved modifications and refinancing agreements. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all loan servicing activities comply with federal, state, and company regulations and policies. Prepare regular reports on loan servicing activities, account statuses, and compliance metrics for management review. Collections and Delinquency Management: Monitor delinquent accounts and initiate collection procedures, coordinating with collections teams as necessary to minimize delinquency. Work with customers to develop repayment plans, assist in curing defaults, and manage foreclosure and repossession processes when required. Loan System Updates: Maintain and update loan servicing systems with current customer information, payment histories, and account changes. Test and implement system updates and upgrades to improve efficiency and compliance in loan servicing operations. Additional Duties: Provide support to the loan servicing team as needed to ensure consistent and efficient service delivery. Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to department goals. Requirements Interpersonal & Customer Service Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong focus on providing excellent customer service. Organizational Skills: Highly organized with excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software applications. Education and Experience Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience: Prior mortgage experience is preferred. Physical Requirements Work Environment: Ability to sit for prolonged periods while working on a computer.
