General Dentist

Location: Bellingham Practice Position Type: Full-Time Schedule: 4-10 Hour Shifts Expected Hiring Range: $175,000 to $195,000 depending on experience Position Summary The General Dentist supports Willamette Dental’s evidence based treatment philosophy, mission, vision and core values by performing the full scope of general dentistry permitted by state. Education and Experience Degree as a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), and/or Bachelor ofDental Surgery (BDS). Successful completion of a traditional pre doctoral dentistry program and validlicensure in the specific state(s) where practicing. Licenses, Certifications and Registrations Degree as a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). Knowledge of: Evidence based dental practices. AxiUm electronic records Fulfill all requirements to ensure proper electronic documentation for all care provided to patients. CAMBRA and PEMBRA, with an emphasis on prevention. Risk phases, and risk assessment. Diagnostic terms. Information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat and oral cavity anomalies. Principles and processes for providing customer and optimal patient experience. This includespatient needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of patientsatisfaction. Expected hiring range for this position depending on experience (annual salary): $175,000 - $195,000 USD Compensation The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to education, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. This position is also eligible for incentive pay in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan. Employees in part-time roles working less than 40 hours per week will accrue PTO on a pro-rated basis. Physical Requirements The work is primarily performed while sitting and/or standing, but will require occasional walking, bending, stooping and carrying light items such as papers, books, or other supplies.
