We are seeking a reliable and skilled Sit Down Forklift Operator to join our team in Richmond, VA (23231). In this role, you will play a crucial part in our operations by ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials within our facility. ## Responsibilities
Operate sit down forklifts to transport materials and products within the warehouse.
Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate inventory management.
Conduct regular inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance needs.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse layout for optimal efficiency.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
Keep accurate records of inventory movements and report discrepancies.
QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.
Valid forklift operator certification.
Previous experience operating sit down forklifts preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
