CVOR Nurse in Dunnellon, FL

Experienced professionals in cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) nursing are invited to make a meaningful impact in a high-acuity setting dedicated to excellence in patient care. This contract opportunity involves working with highly skilled surgical teams, utilizing advanced technology, and supporting patients through complex cardiovascular procedures.

Schedule:

6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Qualifications:

Active and unencumbered RN license
Minimum of 2 years of recent CVOR nursing experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Proven expertise in assisting with cardiac and vascular surgeries
Outstanding commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork
Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills

Key Responsibilities:

Provide professional nursing care in a busy CVOR, including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative support
Scrub and circulate during procedures, ensuring sterile field maintenance and patient safety
Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff to deliver seamless surgical care
Monitor and document patients' conditions, promptly responding to changes during operations
Maintain accurate records and prepare equipment, supplies, and instruments for surgical procedures
