Job Title: Family Practice Physician

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician with OB experience preferred to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outpatient OB/GYN care, including prenatal care and deliveries, along with surgical procedures such as suturing, IUD insertions, Nexplanon placements, toe nail removals, excisions/biopsies, colposcopies, and casting/splinting. Experience with all ages and women’s health issues is required.

Schedule:

• 10-hour days, Monday-Friday flexibility preferred to ensure coverage.
• OB Call: 1:3

Patient Population:

• All ages

Clinical Scope & Workload:

• Typically 16-18 patients scheduled per day
• EMR System: Cerner CommunityWorks
• On-site Providers: MDs, DOs, NPs, and PAs
• Responsibilities include outpatient OB/GYN care, prenatal, and deliveries when applicable.
• Procedures include OB deliveries, suturing, IUD insertions, Nexplanon insertions, toe nail removals, excisions/biopsies, colposcopies, casting, and splinting.
• Call responsibilities involve OB call every third day.

Credentials & Compliance:

• Inactive Oregon license and DEA preferred at submission
• Certifications needed: ACLS, NRP
• OB-specific requirements: Evidence of at least 10 deliveries in past 24 months, and successful completion of 30 cesarean births.
• Credentialing duration: 3-6 months

Credentialing:

• Process timeframe: 3-6 months
• References required: 3
• Temporary, emergency, or locum tenens privileges granted post review of complete file
• Provider enrollment paperwork required; approved after file review
• Medical Staff meetings: First Tuesday of each month
• Board of Directors meetings: Fourth Wednesday of each month

Shift Info:

• Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:00)
