Job Description
Looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with 4 8 years of experience in Low Voltage Switchgear and sheet metal design. Must have experience with UL 891 and design tools such as Autodesk Inventor, Vault, and SolidWorks.

Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Henrico, VA

Key Responsibilities

Design Low Voltage Switchgear and mechanical components.
Work on sheet metal and copper component design.
Design support structures for power distribution equipment.
Develop designs for Tap-Off Units, PDU, RPP, and Main Switch Boards.
Create 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
Support manufacturing and ensure designs are production-ready.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
4 8 years of relevant mechanical design experience.
Switchgear industry experience is required.
Strong knowledge of Low Voltage Switchgear, sheet metal, and copper design.
Knowledge of UL 891 standards.
Experience with Autodesk Inventor, Vault, and SolidWorks.
Understanding of manufacturing processes / DFM.
