Work hours are Monday to Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic while serving our clients.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough evaluations for patients, reviewing their medical history and performing necessary assessments to determine appropriate treatment strategies.Communicate evaluation findings and treatment plans to patients and their families, ensuring they are actively involved in the goal-setting process.Implement diverse treatment protocols based on individual patient evaluations, adjusting care approaches as needed to reflect evolving healthcare standards and patient conditions.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to modify treatment plans according to documented changes in patient conditions.Document all patient care activities precisely and in a timely manner, including evaluations, daily encounter notes, and discharge summaries.Manage your schedule efficiently, demonstrating effective time management skills while meeting productivity expectations.Engage actively in departmental goals and initiatives, complying with local and federal regulations regarding patient care.Participate in the development of educational and marketing strategies to enhance community engagement and access to care.Patient Population / Client FocusYou will primarily work with a diverse adult patient population seeking rehabilitation from various conditions, from post-operative recovery to chronic pain management. Our clinic prides itself on individualized care, ensuring treatment programs are tailored to each patient's specific rehabilitation needs.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.Active state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) per American Heart Association standards.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster relationships with patients and families.Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous.Preferred ExperienceWhile a minimum of two years of previous experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is required, we value candidates who have demonstrated a commitment to professional development and innovation in patient care practices.Compensation and BenefitsThis full-time position offers an annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.
