Outside Sales Representative

CBTI is a growing Bay Area security and building technology company helping organizations improve security, access control, surveillance, and facility operations. We're looking for a motivated Outside Sales Representative who enjoys building relationships, generating new business, and helping customers solve real problems. What You'll Do Prospect and develop new business opportunities throughout the Bay Area Meet with customers in person, conduct site visits, and identify security and technology needs Build relationships with business owners, facilities leaders, property managers, and contractors Present solutions involving access control, video surveillance, security upgrades, and related technologies Generate recurring revenue opportunities and build long-term customer relationships Attend industry events and trade shows What We're Looking For 2-8 years of outside sales, business development, account management, or customer-facing sales experience Proven ability to prospect, generate leads, and close business Strong communication and relationship-building skills Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to hustle and create opportunities Comfortable working independently in a hybrid environment Basic technical aptitude and interest in learning security and building technology solutions Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for customer meetings Experience selling security, low-voltage, telecom, facilities, construction, building technology, or related solutions, preferred Familiarity with access control, CCTV, or integrated security systems, preferred Base salary in the $60k range, total on target earnings (OTE) for first year is $100k Generous commission structure Laptop provided Hybrid work flexibility after onboarding Flexible PTO Why CBTI?
