Windchill PLM Enterprise Solution Architect

The Windchill PLM Enterprise Solution Architect is responsible for defining, designing, and governing enterprise-scale Product Lifecycle Management solutions using the PTC Windchill platform. The role leads PLM transformation initiatives spanning solution architecture, cloud migration, integrations, data migration, performance, security, and technical governance across the product development lifecycle. The architect collaborates with business stakeholders, engineering teams, IT leadership, and implementation partners to deliver scalable, secure, supportable, and high-performing PLM capabilities aligned with enterprise objectives Required Technical Skills Windchill Platform Windchill PDMLink, MPMLink, ProjectLink, Parts Management, Document Management, Change Management, BOM Management, workflow, lifecycle, classification, and access control. Engineering and Customization Java/J2EE, Windchill customization, Info*Engine, REST APIs, SOAP services, SQL, Oracle or PostgreSQL, Apache, and Tomcat. Cloud and DevOps AWS or Microsoft Azure architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, automated deployment, CI/CD, monitoring, and operational readiness. SAP or Oracle integration, Boomi or MuleSoft, ThingWorx, API management, identity management, SSO, LDAP, and Active Directory. Enterprise architecture, solution patterns, non-functional requirements, security architecture, capacity planning, risk management, and technical governance. Preferred Certifications PTC and PLM PTC Windchill certification or equivalent demonstrated expertise. Cloud and Architecture AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert. TOGAF, SAFe Architect, or comparable architecture certification. Performance, scalability, availability, and disaster recovery assessments. Technical governance framework, standards, and reusable design patterns. Implementation roadmap, estimates, assumptions, dependencies, and risks. Qualification: Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred. Professional Experience 12+ years of overall IT experience. 8+ years of hands-on Windchill implementation experience. 5+ years in solution architecture or enterprise architecture roles.
