Compensation

Base Salary: USD $75,000 $90,000 per year

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team within a hospital surgical services environment. This role involves delivering high-quality perioperative nursing care during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

Assess patients continuously and document clinical findings accurately
Provide perioperative nursing care during cardiovascular procedures
Verify orders, consents, pre-op documentation, and test scheduling accuracy
Administer medications and IV therapy in accordance with hospital protocols
Monitor patients for adverse reactions, including first-dose medications
Interpret diagnostic data and escalate critical findings appropriately
Ensure compliance with patient identification and safety standards
Support interdisciplinary collaboration and patient-centered care
Perform additional clinical duties as required

Required Qualifications

Associate s Degree in Nursing (required)
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Multi-State/Compact preferred or required per state rules)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (AHA) within 7 days of hire
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required during orientation
2 5 years of clinical experience preferred
Strong critical thinking and perioperative nursing skills
Ability to work in a high-acuity surgical environment
