Schedule: Full Time. Monday Friday dayshift.

Location: Twin County Cardiology/Surgery/Neurology

Pay Grade: $14.41-$17.79

How you'll contribute

A Scheduler who excels in this role:

• Schedules all patients for ancillary, surgical, and medical testing/procedures/admissions.
• Obtains physician's orders and authorization/pre-certification. Enters outpatient procedures in the Order Entry System.
• Communicates insurance coverage limitations, testing requirements, and other pertinent information to patients and physician offices.

What we're looking for Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Prior scheduling experience in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred.
• Medical terminology, billing, and/or collection experience is preferred.
• Strong computer skills required.

More about Twin County Regional Healthcare Twin County Regional Healthcare (TCRH) is located in Galax, Virginia, which is in the center of the Twin Counties of Grayson and Carroll in Southwest Virginia. TCRH is a 141-bed facility that includes acute care, ambulatory care and emergency services. TCRH is considered a rural hospital that serves a large Medicare population, as well as, a total population of approximately 60,000. We operate within a 100-mile radius.
