HFE HR Intern Job Description

This internship provides hands-on experience supporting Human Resources operations, including recruiting, employee engagement initiatives, and internal HR communications within a fast-paced corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative and operational support across day-to-day HR activities, supporting various Technology Centers in the Sugar Land area
• Assist with the recruitment process, including posting, interviewing, and onboarding
• Assist with the administration of culture programs and initiatives
• Assist in organizing special events, such as center-wide celebrations and recognitions
• Provide coordination and administration of the employee recognition program
• Contribute to HR projects and process improvements as needed
• Maintain high level of confidentiality and ensure compliance with HR policies and data privacy guidelines
• Conduct employee information meetings on employment policies.
• Participate in initiatives aimed continuously improving HR performance and employee motivation.

Qualifications:

• Must be based in Houston, TX or surrounding areas and commit to a 6-month internship
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, and other departments
• Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities without close supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Outstanding administrative, organizational, and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in the use and application of the following software:
• Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint

Education Requirements:

• Sophomore or Junior pursuing a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year university or college with a degree in human resources, business administration, industrial psychology, or a closely related field.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

• None.
