Cardiac Telemetry RN - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Nights, 3x12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to patients in a cardiac stepdown unit. The ideal candidate will have a background in cardiac telemetry nursing and the ability to manage acute cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions, manage cardiac drips, and monitor telemetry readings.
• Provide post-operative care for cardiac and thoracic surgeries.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias effectively.
• Perform sheath removals and wound care as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience on a cardiac floor required.
• BLS & ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• NIHSS certification is preferred.
• Traveler experience is required unless the candidate has more than 24 months of cardiac experience.
