Travel Physical Therapist - $2,376 per week

Physical Therapist – Travel Location: Norfolk, Virginia. Duration: 13 weeks (40 hours per week, 8‑hour days). Employment Type: Travel/PTa assignment. Job Overview Seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an immediate travel opening in Norfolk, VA. Candidates should have at least 6 months of experience; exceptional candidates with a suitable background may be considered with 1 year of experience. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Bill within the facility using the appropriate guidelines. Understand and comply with the respective PT board's rules and regulations of the state. Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care. Understand adaptive equipment. Evaluate patients and create a plan of care. Modify plans of care based on patient condition. Use Medical Center computer systems to perform daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state/institutional and insurance guidelines. Requirements Minimum 6 months of experience (new graduates encouraged). Board‑eligible/board‑certified in the state of licensure. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. ABPTS (American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists) certification or acceptable equivalent. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, and bend or stoop without difficulty. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
