Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 07/06/2026 Duration: 26 weeks Hours: 40 per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities As a PT, you will be responsible for the evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians) Bill within the respective setting, following facility guidelines Understand and comply with the PT board’s rules and regulations in the respective state Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team‑focused plan of care Use adaptive equipment Evaluate and create a plan of care Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient condition Use Medical Center computer systems in performing daily tasks Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines Requirements Minimum 6 months of experience (new graduates encouraged) BLS certification State‑specific licensure Physical stamina: stand and walk for long periods, bend/stoop without difficulty Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology Additional certifications may be required before assignment Location and Compensation Location: Tacoma, Washington.
