Acute Care Physical Therapist

Location: California

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 5X8 schedule; Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Acute Care Physical Therapist to join our team in California. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute care settings and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapy interventions to help patients regain mobility and function.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient evaluations and assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans targeting mobility, strength, and function.
• Implement therapeutic interventions in accordance with established treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and rehabilitation techniques.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in acute care settings.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
