Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (0700–1930) | 3×12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients with hematologic, oncologic, immunocompromised, and cardiac conditions, including complex fluid and medication management and single and/or multi-system complications
• Independently analyze and interpret cardiac rhythms for assigned patients; unit is not monitored by monitor technicians
• Administer chemotherapy and manage continuous infusion medications including cardiac drips, insulin, and heparin
• Perform and assist with procedures including IV starts, peripheral and arterial blood draws, wound vac dressing changes, wound drain management, central line care, tracheotomy care, and chest tube management
• Manage pain and provide care within a self-scheduling environment, including required holiday and weekend shift commitments
• Collaborate with ancillary staff while maintaining RN-to-patient ratios of 1:4, with flexibility up to 1:6 as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Ability to read and interpret cardiac rhythm strips independently
• Minimum 1–2 years of telemetry or relevant acute care nursing experience
• Must comply with local radius rule (80-mile radius)
• All requested time off must be negotiated prior to assignment confirmation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology nursing experience, including chemotherapy administration
• Phlebotomy experience, including peripheral and arterial blood draws
• Familiarity with hematologic patient populations and radiation complication management
