Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chemical Operator to join our team in Cranston, RI. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the production process, ensuring that our chemical operations run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities- Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Prepare and mix chemical solutions according to specified formulas.
- Document production data and maintain accurate records of operations.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving operational problems as they arise.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in chemistry or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience as a chemical operator or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of chemical processes and safety regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
