Associate Attorney - Civil Litigation & TrialSeeking an Associate Attorney with 0-10 years of experience to join its Kansas City office. The attorney will have the opportunity to handle a broad range of litigation matters while receiving hands-on training and mentorship from experienced trial attorneys.Location: St. Louis, MOEmployment Type: Full-Time | In-PersonOur client is a well-established civil litigation and trial firm seeking an Associate Attorney with 0-10 years of experience to join its Kansas City office. The attorney will have the opportunity to handle a broad range of litigation matters while receiving hands-on training and mentorship from experienced trial attorneys.Key Responsibilities:Handle civil litigation matters from case evaluation through resolution and trial.Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Assist with discovery, depositions, hearings, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.Represent clients in a variety of matters, potentially including medical malpractice, personal injury, premises liability, insurance coverage, and product liability.Work closely with senior attorneys while developing independent litigation and trial skills.Manage case files, deadlines, and client communications effectively.Qualifications:J.D. from an accredited law school.Missouri Bar admission or eligibility required.0-10 years of legal experience; recent law school graduates are encouraged to apply.Strong legal research and writing skills.Genuine interest in civil litigation and trial practice.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work independently while benefiting from a collaborative, mentorship-driven environment.What the Firm Offers:This position provides an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to gain immediate practical experience, meaningful responsibility, and hands-on exposure to litigation and trial work while working alongside experienced trial lawyers.Application Requirements: Candidates should be prepared to provide a resume, cover letter, law school transcript, and writing sample.
