Pharmacy Technician II-Pharmacy Infusion Center- FT Day Shift

Pharmacy TechnicianThe Pharmacy Technician will prepare, package, document, and label drug products under the direct technical supervision of the Pharmacist. Performs all required data entry and filing associated with the process and performs functions related to drug purchasing and inventory control procedures. Technician will participate in the Pharmacy Department Performance Improvement projects/programs and collect data for workload measurements as needed or required.What It Takes to be Successful Required Qualifications: Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job Must be able to demonstrate proper aseptic techniques Minimum one year full-time relevant experience as a Pharmacy Technician Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English California Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration License or Pharmacy Intern Registration Certificate Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System 1+ year experience in admixing chemotherapy drugs Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience (minimum 2 years) in a pharmacy preparing sterile I.V. admixture Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms Experience in IV solution processingTotal Rewards We offer a wealth of benefits to make working at UCI even more rewarding.
