As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and assisting visitors and employees with professionalism. You will remain visible, communicate clearly, and respond to access-related concerns while delivering exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat12:00 AM - 10:00 AMSun12:00 AM - 10:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities. Monitor and control access to manufacturing and industrial facilities, including verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining access records, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas. Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site policies. Conduct regular and random patrols of facility entrances, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Support adherence to site policies by documenting incidents, completing required reports, and communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. CPR/First Aid is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
