MRI Tech

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 10-hour Days shift; includes every other holiday and weekend.

Job Description: The MRI Tech is responsible for performing MRI scans on patients in a hospital setting. You will ensure patient safety and comfort, while also maintaining quality control for imaging procedures. This position requires a thorough understanding of MRI technology and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff to provide optimal care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI scans as per physician orders
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
• Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care
• Document imaging results accurately and timely

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• ARRT certification in MRI technology
• State licensure as required
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
