When you’re working in the deli department, you’ll be on the front lines of customer service—your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. What You'll Do Sweep us off our feet by ensuring high-quality products are taken care of and available for our members. Maintain shelves clean, with temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lesser-quality food products. Pack ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stock displays. Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area. Follow safety standards, conduct safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, handle hazardous materials, and report unsafe situations. Manage the sales floor and merchandise presentation in the freezer/cooler/deli area, including handling claims, returns, zoning, receiving, stocking, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays. Provide member service by acknowledging members, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, providing deli products, resolving issues, and promoting company products and services. Comply with food handling policies, operate and repair equipment, sanitize, follow Cold Chain procedures, clean the area, monitor equipment, and report issues to management. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments within the prescribed timeframe.
