Experience working with individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, or neurodevelopmental disorders is highly valued. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, patient monitoring techniques, first aid and CPR certification, manual handling skills including heavy lifting and patient transfers such as Hoyer lifts are essential.
