Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience worked in the last 3 years.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Neuro specialty inpatient unit caring for medical and surgical neuro patients, including stroke and epilepsy patients. Post-surgical cases may include spine surgeries, brain tumors, craniotomy, and ophthalmology cases. Patient population may include multiple sclerosis, ALS, Guillain-Barre syndrome, trauma or orthopedic patients with multiple injuries/diagnoses, and spinal fractures requiring orthotics.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend rotation. Some holidays based on operational need.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 reference required from within the last 3 years
