Core Responsibilities

• Maintaining and repairing dies used in production processes, ensuring they meet precise specifications and performance requirements.
• Fabricating new dies and components using various toolroom equipment, including CNC machines, grinding equipment, and precision measuring instruments.
• Diagnosing die-related production issues and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Collaborating closely with CNC programmers, WEDM operators, and production teams to ensure seamless workflow and optimal die performance.
• Performing quality inspections on dies and components, verifying dimensions against blueprints and specifications using precision measuring tools.
• Maintaining detailed records of die modifications, repairs, and maintenance activities to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supporting multiple production shifts by providing technical expertise and responding to urgent maintenance needs.
• Contributing to process improvements by identifying opportunities to enhance die longevity and reduce production interruptions.

Must-Have Requirements

• Minimum of five years of professional experience as a Tool and Die Maker or equivalent role in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with CNC machinery, grinding equipment, and precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
• Expertise in reading and interpreting technical blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of die design principles, materials, and fabrication techniques.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex manufacturing issues.
• Familiarity with WEDM operations and applications is highly valuable.
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail are crucial, as precision is fundamental to this role.
• Reliable transportation and the flexibility to work multiple shifts as needed for production requirements.
• A high school diploma or GED is required. Valid certifications or credentials related to tool and die making are a plus.
• Commitment to safety protocols and quality standards in all aspects of your work.
