Location: Dover Plains, NY
Salary: $75,000–$85,000
Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site| Direct Hire

Job Overview:
A rapidly growing food manufacturer is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead its maple syrup bottling operation. This high-visibility position oversees daily production, quality, food safety, and team performance while helping build a scalable manufacturing operation with significant opportunity for career growth.

Production Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Lead the daily operation of a high-volume bottling line, supervising 5–10 production employees.
• Manage production schedules, throughput, line efficiency, and equipment utilization.
• Oversee filling, capping, labeling, coding, packaging, and palletizing operations.
• Troubleshoot production equipment and coordinate preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, HACCP, SQF, sanitation, and food safety standards.
• Maintain production, quality, and traceability documentation.
• Train, coach, and develop production employees while building a positive, safety-first culture.
• Help expand operations from one production shift to two as business growth continues.

Qualifications:

• 2–3+ years of leadership experience in food, beverage, or bottling manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, SQF (or similar GFSI food safety systems).
• Experience operating and troubleshooting filling or packaging equipment.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
• Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience is a plus.
• Hot-fill liquid bottling experience is highly preferred.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
