What You'll Do

As a Substitute Teacher, you'll help keep students learning and engaged while their regular teacher is away.

• Follow the teacher's lesson plans and classroom instructions.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and positive learning environment.
• Keep students engaged, encourage participation, and support classroom learning.
• Maintain classroom expectations and manage student behavior professionally.
• Supervise students during classroom activities, lunch, recess, and transitions.
• Communicate with school staff about classroom activities, student progress, and any concerns.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in childcare, tutoring, mentoring, coaching, youth programs, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
