Job Summary Builds, repairs and maintains various facility structures such as furniture, equipment, partitions and other components of the hospital buildings, using hand and power tools according to accepted trade practices and written and oral instructions. Qualifications Completion of apprenticeship program or equivalent experience 1 year carpentry experience Effective communication skills (written, verbal, listening) Ability to work with wood, metal, concrete, plastics & composite materials Knowledge of building materials and their uses Ability to maintain work job site safety and follow established safety rules and regulations as well as maintain a safe and clean environment Ability to operate various woodworking equipment, machinery and hand tools With locations around the state, Hartford HealthCare offers exciting opportunities for career development and growth.
