Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in San Francisco, California. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care for obstetric patients in an acute setting, focusing on assessment, delivery, and postpartum care. The position requires delivering patient-centered, multidisciplinary support for high-risk obstetric cases while ensuring safety and adherence to clinical protocols. Job Details Position Description: Responsible for assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for obstetric patients, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care in an acute patient setting. Develops, implements, and coordinates a plan of care that incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors. Required Qualifications: CA RN Licensure; BLS (AHA); ACLS; NRP; AWHONN Intermediate; minimum 2 years of experience in obstetrics; Epic electronic medical record system experience; current certifications with valid expiration dates. Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high-risk obstetrics, antepartum, labor, delivery, postpartum care, and neonatal care. Additional Information: Must have at least 2 years of experience in obstetrics, with proficiency in a variety of clinical skills including use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring), sterile speculum exams, assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, neonatal assessments, and management of obstetric complications. No on-call, weekend rotation required.
