Key Responsibilities:

Medication & Treatment Administration Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with facility policies.

Patient Monitoring & Reporting Observe residents' conditions, document care accurately, and promptly report changes to the Nursing Supervisor and/or Physician.

Shift Handover & Communication Provide clear and thorough resident status updates to oncoming shifts, supervisors, and nursing staff.

Physician Order Execution Properly transcribe and carry out physician orders while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Infection Control & Safety Follow all infection control procedures to maintain a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.

Inventory Management Assist in monitoring and maintaining supplies, medications, and medical equipment.

Quality Improvement Participate in quality assurance initiatives to enhance patient care and facility operations.

Resident Care & Comfort Provide compassionate nursing care that prioritizes both the physical and emotional well-being of residents.

Clinical Rounds & Problem-Solving Conduct routine rounds to observe residents, address concerns, and implement effective solutions.

Interdepartmental Collaboration Effectively communicate and coordinate care with other healthcare team members.

Customer Service & Resident Rights Uphold a high standard of service while respecting resident rights and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications:

Active LPN License in the state of New York (required).

Strong communication and teamwork skills.
