Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Trauma Duration: 26 weeks Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year of experience required License: KS or Multistate license Certifications: AHA BLS required Must-Have: - No first-time travelers. - No hits allowed, no exceptions. - Immunity status of Hep B, MMR, and Varicella (obtained by a titer) or proof of vaccination series completion. - TDaP vaccine, Influenza vaccine, or exemption request during flu season. - TB documentation. Description: This position is for a Med/Surg Trauma registered nurse. The nurse will care for post-operative spinal surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedic injuries, and trauma-related injuries. The unit has a 1:6 staffing ratio. Scrub color is navy. Visible tattoos are permitted, provided they are not offensive or inappropriate. Piercings are acceptable if they do not interfere with job duties and maintain a professional appearance.
