Clinical Resource Coordinator
The Clinical Resource Coordinator is a Registered Nurse responsible for the overall education, development, and training of clinical staff through collaboration with the Clinical Administrator, Director, and Clinical Staff Leaders. The CRC will be responsible for conducting individual and group staff educational programs; including orientation, in-services, workshops and development of educational materials. They will also participate in outreach education as requested. The Coordinator will provide hands-on training, evaluate competency and perform clinical care when necessary. The Coordinator functions independently and in collaboration with other health care providers. The Coordinator is also responsible for coordination of area specific quality processes as well as clinical affiliation agreements and student onboarding.
Education: Required: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing or AS degree in Nursing and currently enrolled/working on BSN and must complete within two years of hire. Preferred: Master's Degree in Nursing or Education.
Experience: Required: Minimum of three years' clinical experience. Preferred: Five years department-specific highly recommended. Prior experience as an educator.
Position Requirement(s): License/Certification/Registration Required: Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of North Carolina. BLS completed prior to going to unit/department and maintained going forward. Preferred: Certification in area of specialty.
