Maintenance Mechanic Details:
- Direct hire position
- $ 62,400.00 / annually
- Weekend work required
- Third shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00pm to 04:30am)
Job Details
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and packaging equipment to minimize downtime
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery and facility systems
- Conduct repairs to building structure, utilities, and surrounding grounds as needed
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, safety standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Support process improvement initiatives to meet production, quality, and efficiency KPIs
- Assist in training and mentoring junior maintenance team members
- Maintain accurate records for maintenance, calibration, and equipment usage, and manage spare parts inventory
Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, including reading schematics and technical documents
- Experience with packaging equipment (form/fill/seal machines such as HMC, Bartelt, etc.) preferred
- Working knowledge of process controls, manufacturing equipment, and standard tools/measuring devices
- Ability to read, write, and clearly communicate in English
- Proficiency with basic computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred
