Exciting opportunity available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide impactful services in a school-based setting near the Boston/South Boston area. This is a contract role to cover a leave, starting January 25th with an anticipated end date of May 12th—extensions are possible. The schedule follows a standard school day, Monday through Friday, from 8:05am to 3:05pm.
Step into a dynamic, itinerant position where you’ll collaborate with talented professionals and play a crucial role in supporting students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth. You’ll have the opportunity to share expertise and work alongside another experienced BCBA within the district, ensuring continuity and comprehensive coverage for students in need.
Qualifications:
- Valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles and strategies
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered practice
- Ability to travel between school sites as part of an itinerant team
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans
- Provide direct support and consultation to staff, teachers, and families
- Monitor progress, collect data, and adjust plans as needed
- Train and support paraprofessionals and classroom staff implementing ABA strategies
- Foster positive, inclusive learning environments
- Collaborate with a dedicated BCBA peer and broader school team
