CulinArt is hiring full-time Cold Food (Salad) positions at Loyola University in Maywood, IL, with an immediate start date. Candidates must have at least 2 years of deli and prep experience to qualify for the role. The position offers a full-time schedule, with varying days from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm. Job Summary: Cuts delicatessen meats, vegetables and cheeses with slicing machine, knives or other cutters. Prepares and serves sandwiches, salads and other cold food items. Essential duties and responsibilities include obtaining daily production schedule and preparation requirements from Chef, preparing sandwich meats, cheeses, condiments and salads using approved production standards, stocking and replenishing deli/cold products and condiments following approved merchandising guidelines, carrying pans, kettles and trays of food to and from workstation, stove and refrigerator, storing food in designated areas following HACCP standard wrapping, dating and rotation procedures, cleaning, sanitizing and maintaining counters, work surfaces, refrigeration units and floors in the preparation and serving areas, interacting with coworkers to ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory and cash control procedures, maintaining clean, safe work environment to comply with sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements, and performing other duties as assigned.
