Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery (L&D) Location Weatherford, TX Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Job Description We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care during labor, delivery, recovery, and immediate newborn care, following established protocols and best practices. Responsibilities Monitor laboring patients and provide individualized care. Assist with deliveries, including C-sections, as necessary. Support immediate newborn care during the golden hour. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the labor and delivery process. Document patient information accurately in Meditech / CPN. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current and active Texas RN License (temp license not accepted). Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing. BLS, NRPA, and AWHONN certifications required. Experience in circulating C-sections and previous use of Meditech is preferred.
