Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. DayTimeThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for an educational location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe campus activity, offering assistance to students, staff, and visitors while following post orders and established protocols.
- Support day-to-day operations during classes, events, and/or after-hours activity by maintaining a visible presence and communicating security-related information as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Able to ride a bike.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
