The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, problem-solving, and possesses strong technical and instructional skills. Candidates must be business-minded, adapt quickly in a dynamic environment, and maintain a strong sense of accountability. Success in this role requires a passion for technology and the ability to deliver instructional sessions that meet client and learner expectations. What You’ll Do Support instructor-led training that prepares students for entry-level to mid-level careers in IT Support or healthcare IT. Deliver daily instruction, administer assessments, track attendance, provide one-on-one tutoring, evaluate student progress, and address violations consistently. Provide students with access to relevant resources for outside learning and study aids aligned with the curriculum. Collaborate with the team to identify student needs, create individualized plans, and participate in regular student-status meetings. Maintain student records in Salesforce and/or the LMS, including grades, certification scores, and progress notes. Support and update training curricula, syllabi, lesson plans, and other classroom materials. Instructional Skill Sets 1-3 years of teaching or training experience. Strong technical background; ability to grasp and convey highly technical subject matter. Clear communication in live digital conversations via platforms such as Zoom or in-person environments. Required Skill Sets Advanced knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux Operating Systems (end-user and server). Experience with Type 1 and Type 2 virtualization hypervisors (VMware ESXI, VirtualBox, Hyper‑V). Experience with Windows Server, AD, DHCP, DNS, NPS, Group Policy, user-profile management, and WDS. Proficiency with file systems, disk management, performance monitoring, and security. Experience supporting hardware and software add/change/move/installation, imaging, and upgrade of desktops, printers, scanners, and other equipment. Proficiency with LAN/WAN/VLAN, routing configuration, switching, and TCP/IP + OSI layers. Experience with desktops, rack servers, and networking equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls. Proficiency with remote administration tools, including Intune, RDP, and TeamViewer. Experience troubleshooting desktop, equipment, application, and connectivity issues over the phone or remote sessions. Thorough understanding of security concepts, models, and standards; implementation experience in business environments. Ability to write instructional content and curriculum aligned with outcomes. Must be able to secure course-relevant certifications (CompTIA or Cisco IT/Network). Commitment to ongoing professional development and certifications. Healthcare IT Systems Knowledge: support core health information systems such as EHR (Epic, Cerner), LIS, PACS, and patient-facing technologies. HIPAA & HITECH Compliance: working knowledge of healthcare privacy and security regulations. Healthcare Cybersecurity Fundamentals: address common threats, security controls, and incident response. Healthcare Data Governance & Security: understand PHI, PII classification and secure healthcare data systems. Healthcare Network & Systems Infrastructure: design secure clinical network architectures. Effective communication with clinical staff: translate technical concepts into clinical language. Preferred Skill Sets Current A+ certification. Network+ (N10‑007 or N10‑008) or Cisco equivalent (CCNA). ServiceNow experience. Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience with ITIL implementation in help‐desk environments. Experience with SLA ticketing systems and customer-driven support. Clinical Workflow IT Support: simulate real-world clinical scenarios and support clinicians. EHR Platform Expertise: Epic, Cerner, HL7, FHIR. Healthcare Billing & Revenue Cycle Knowledge. Healthcare Data Platforms & Analytics experience. Knowledge of AI tools in healthcare analytics. Professional Qualifications Bachelor's degree (or equivalent practical/industry experience). Strong technical aptitude (Google Sheets/Excel, Slides/PowerPoint, Salesforce, Slack, Zoom). Project management and organizational skills with detailed follow-through. Excellent written communication, presentation, and customer service skills. Solid understanding of business needs. Strong evaluation and data management skills.
