Junior Financial Analyst

Position Title Junior Financial Analyst Job Summary KBR’s National Security Solutions team supports the Department of Defense’s Test Resource Management Center (TRMC). As a Junior Financial Analyst you will support the TRMC/KBR Program Financial Manager by managing financial records for multiple projects, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate funding information. Responsibilities Update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions for multiple projects and lines of accounting. Track and reconcile daily, monthly, and year‑end accounts. Perform quality checks on funding documents and work with other analysts to validate funding information. Execute other duties assigned by the Program Financial Manager or Finance Manager. Receive on‑site training at the TRMC to support accurate program reconciliation. Minimum Skills Required Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or business. 1 to 4 years of work‑related experience or equivalent education and experience. Active DoD Secret Clearance. Experience maintaining financial records and updating spreadsheets. Experience reviewing and reconciling execution reports. Excellent knowledge of MS Excel. Thorough understanding of business reconciling. Desired Skills Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Positive “can do” attitude and drive. Highly organized, proactive, and capable of multi‑tasking under pressure. Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Strong quantitative skills. Compensation $74,500 – $100,000 (for Virginia only). The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
