Job Summary


We're seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join our growing IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, system security, and user management - with expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft 365 environments. This role requires a proactive professional who can design, implement, and maintain reliable, secure, and scalable systems to support our operations.



Key Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and maintain AWS infrastructure, including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, and related services.
• Manage and optimize Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune.
• Oversee system updates, patches, and backups to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Configure (as necessary) and maintain identity access management systems.
• Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and resolve complex system and network issues.
• Collaborate with development/data and analytics, accounting, and operations teams to enhance system performance and reliability.
• Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Configure (as necessary) and enforce system security best practices across our cloud environment.
• Configure and maintain virtual servers, storage, and backup systems.
• Assist in disaster recovery/business continuity planning, testing, and execution.



Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator, Cloud Engineer, or similar IT role.
• Proficiency with AWS cloud environments (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC).
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and security controls.
• Familiarity with automation tools such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting.
• Understanding of system security and compliance best practices.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows Server administration.
Preferred Qualifications
• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent certification.
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or related certification.
• Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery tools.

Physical Requirements:
The physical requirements for this office role include the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, typically up to 8 hours a day, and regularly operate standard office equipment such as computers and phones. Employees should be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally and frequently perform tasks that require typing, writing, and document handling. Effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary, along with adequate visual and auditory abilities to read materials and participate in meetings.
