Payroll Specialist

Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join their client's team in Tulare County. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, industry experience, and a keen eye for detail. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with payroll expertise, particularly those with experience in the construction or skilled trades environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll and related administrative processes efficiently.
• Track employee time and material transactions accurately.
• Utilize mobile applications for employees to log into jobs, log out, record time worked, and track materials used.
• Work closely with the Contracting Department to support daily operations.
• Possess knowledge of prevailing wage requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth payroll operations.
• Adapt to a dynamic work environment and find solutions for payroll challenges.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling payroll data.

Required Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Payroll iSolved.
• Experience with Zuper and QuickBooks (QB) is helpful.
• Ability to export and manage data in Excel.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, data analysis, and managing large data dumps/files.

Industry Experience Preferred

• Experience in construction or skilled trades environments.
• Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, sheet metal work, HVAC, and underground utilities.

Qualifications

• Work Hours: Monday - Friday
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Bilingual candidates are considered a nice-to-have.

Benefits

Competitive hourly pay ranging from $28 to $35, depending on experience.
