Family Medicine opportunity in Olean, NY Located about an hour from Buffalo, NY Position Details:

• Full-time, permanent position
• Opening for a family practitioner due to retirement at multi-specialty medical group
• Physician-owned group in western New York state, established in 1948.
• Join 3 other family practitioners at this very successful practice
• Shared call 1:7
• Groups hours are Monday through Friday, 8a-5p.

• This opportunity can be strictly outpatient if you like - you make the decision. There are many pluses to working at this group. The hospital is located directly next door to the main facility and all five satellite offices are within 12-28 miles of the main office. It is a one-stop for patients at the main office with a full-service accredited Laboratory and an accredited Radiology Department on site. This is a very congenial group: providers work hard but their time with their families is important to them too. There is a blend of older experienced providers and newer grads and they all make up our 39 member staff in 16 specialties.
Compensation Package:
• Sign/start bonus
• $10k relocation
• Great benefits, including: a great pension plan, plus loan repayment for physicians through Doctors Across New York (DANY) if eligible.
• This is a partnership track also for those who are eligible.
• Physicians in need of J1 waivers, we apply through the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) any time of the year, with no cap, and we pay all expenses up to $15k.
• No evenings, no weekends, no holidays
About Olean, NY:
• The combined community's population is about 35,000 and the medical group serves an area of about 125,000.
• Located 65 miles south of Buffalo, NY, we do not get Buffalos weather, nor the rest of the states for that matter. In fact, our community registers less than half of the snow that Buffalo and the
state gets. However, Olean is just a 30 minute drive from Ellicottville, NY, where there is fabulous skiing and snowboarding and happily, they do get snow.
• This is a safe community with full time police and fire departments. We have many diverse restaurants, 3 school districts, affordable housing, and plenty of retail here but for large mall shopping and pro sports venues, Buffalo is just an hour and fifteen drive.
• Olean is centrally located to Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and Toronto, all within a 3 3 hour drive.
