This role requires an experienced nurse capable of operating in a high acuity unit, delivering comprehensive assessments, care planning, and collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and psychological health upon admission and throughout their hospital stay.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately.
• Monitor patient progress and document outcomes in accordance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to deliver holistic patient care.
• Provide patient education on managing conditions and post-hospital care.
• Ensure patient safety by following hospital protocols, including infection control measures.
• Recognize and respond to emergencies, performing life-saving interventions as needed.

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Unencumbered OH RN License
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience required
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience
• Mentor/charge experience in high acuity units required
