Emergency Medicine Physician

Join a dynamic level III Trauma Center in Hastings, NE, as you provide critical emergency care to a diverse patient population. In this vital role, you'll deliver high-quality emergency medicine to patients of all ages across approximately 16,000 annual ED visits. Working within a collaborative team of physicians and APPs, you will cover rotating 12-hour shifts day and night helping maintain uninterrupted access to emergency care. Your expertise will contribute to the smooth operation of a well-equipped ED with advanced trauma and treatment facilities.

Required Skills:

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM only)
• Active license or eligible for licensure in Nebraska
• ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications
• Proven ability to manage acutely ill patients across all ages
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous experience in a Level III Trauma Center
• Experience with EPIC EMR systems
• Ability to work flexible and rotating shifts

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of emergency medicine residency
• Prior locum or ER experience preferred but not required

Other Requirements:

• No J-1 or H-1B visa candidates accepted
• Credentialing typically completed within 60-90 days
• Willingness to work approximately 6+ shifts per month, with potential to increase
• Travel and lodging expenses reimbursed, with accommodations provided
• This role involves no call requirements and no overtime, with guaranteed 12-hour shifts
